Lot of Fun at Golf Tournement
About fifty golfers had a sunny fun-filled day as they helped raise funds for NewLife Behavior International. Thanks to everyone who attended, played, or contributed. The effort raised almost $10,000 to train instructors around the world to train more people in how to change their lives and make decisions based upon God's wisdom.

WHAT WOULD CHRIST DO WITH PRISON INMATES AND OTHER OFFENDERS
The following points are what I think Christ will do with prison inmates and other offenders:
- Jesus will help them, just as He helped the outcast of the society, the deprived, the nobodies and the guilty during his life here on earth.
- Jesus would meet their basic needs of life
- Physical needs
- Spiritual needs and,
- Emotional needs.
- Christ will make them feel wanted and important.
Last Friday, June 12, 2009 at Nigerian Prisons Services, Port Harcourt, I told over 450 prison inmates that ˜they are of great value" a lesson from NLBI courses, and they were captivated hearing that, and it gave them hope of being accepted back to the society when they are released. So Jesus will do more than that to the prisoners and offenders.
- Jesus will give them a new life. NLBI have helped so many offenders to have a new life in Christ Jesus. One is even a preacher of the gospel in a congregation of the Lord, and also teaches NLBI courses in Umuahia Prisons, in Nigeria.
- Christ will forgive them that accepted His word, and continue to encourage others to repent and be baptized for the remission of their sins.
- Christ will give them love and in return accept their affections.
- As he ministered to all during his days, he will likewise do the same to the prison inmates and other offenders.

NLBI Training in Port Harcurt Rivers State by Friday Adima
The NLBI November 20 and 21, 2009 instructors training held in Port Harcourt at the Church of Christ that meets at Rumuomasi, Rivers State , Nigeria was a big success.
The two days training for those in Rivers State, was much appreciated by the whole people who participated. One of the certified instructors commended NLBI so much that he never knew that it was such a precious program, and thanked God that he attended and were certified. He added that this training have added more value to the similar training his company sent him. He collected my address for future training.
During the training, one elderly brother was helped on how to bring his children closer to himself. I came to know about his relationship with his children when i finished discussing on the Christian Leadership Model...DISC. I asked a question if we can now identify the Style of Behavior we use more often. The brother answered High "D". i asked him to tell us how this style has affected his family. He told us that whenever he is coming back from work, that his children will run away, instead coming to welcome him. As a result of his authoritative nature, that he is not enjoying that good relationship between Dad and the children, for he flog/beat them every time they disobey him, or play with some certain children.
The question was, how can he remove the fear he had created in the mind of these children? Many people contributed good ideas on how to restore the relationship, and finally added that he should stop floging /beating his children. I told brother to stop fighting with his children. Two, to buy the things that children likes while coming back from work. 3. to change from beating and flogging to a discussion whenever they disobey. 4. to eat together with his children, 5. to go to church together. 6. never call them other names that are very humiliating other than their original names. Lastly, beating/flogging children in every mistake will make the child not to develop in a positive mind, and you will not archive your aim.., for that is re-enforcement.
47 participants were certified on the 21 Nov 2009 which was the end of the training. (43 NLBI Instructors ,and 4 NLBI Trainers).
Several other ideas and questions were shared, i will mail the evaluation form, and other pictures i have burned to a CD ROM.
God's grace I am working toward The Nigerian Chaplain Corps in-cooperating NLBI in their curriculum. i have meet with the Abia State Chaplains Corps Commandant with the curriculum and he appreciated the courses. When it is approved, I will train a good number of them in many states. My aim is for NLBI lessons to go as far as barracks.
So remember this opportunity in your prayers.
